Welcome to SwissRidge kennels. Here at SwissRidge kennels I take great joy in breeding beautiful, sound, english style retrievers. Our main goal is to breed for temperament and health. These are the 2 most important things when it comes to having a loyal/loving family member! I have traveled all over Europe searching for the best retrievers out there and I have obtained some magnificant breeding stock from countries like England, Belgium, France and Spain! I travel to the kennels to pick up the pups to see first hand how they are raised, the parents and if the kennels are really legit! I check over all the ancestors health clearances to made sure they are tested for all genetic disorders. I have been throughly impressed with most of the kennels I have visited in Europe! Once our dogs are old enough we preform all health tests which include OFA for Hips and Elbows, CERF for Eyes, thyroid and also heart tests. Once our females pass all their health tests and we feel they have an amazing temperament that would be beneficial to the breed we will breed them!
